METAL SCULPTURE BAG

The metal bag is an object created to be open to endless possibilities. It doesn’t have a defined use, rather it is created for its owner to decide what it will contain. From a simple concept to the practical use to carry, be carried or be exposed in a specific surrounding.

The choice of materials plays with the mind of the viewer because there is a mix between what it is supposed to be and what it really is. The cloth of the bag is replaced with hard metal that has been fixated in an eternal shape, stable, yet with movement. This optical effect allows the artist to carve
a movement on the object that will perdure, inalterable, for years to come. On the other hand, the bag has soft leather handles which allow you to pick it up and move it around comfortably.
